While not strictly a LOTR pattern I was thinking of the tree that tried to eat the hobbits (or was it just one hobbit? Its been a while since I read the books) somewere in the beginning of felloship of the ring. But than again it can be just any old tree 😀

I have a new paper pieced pattern for ya’ll. This one is called ‘the one ring’ and is my first Lord of the rings/Hobbit pattern. I’ve wanted to do a lotr themed quilt for a while and so this is the beginning of that. Stay tuned for more in the next few months 🙂
