Hi all and welcome to my part in the Whims and fancies 2013 Spring Fling blog hop.
I chose today because it’s my Birthday 🙂 (and I’m not likely to forget that date :P) Anyways I spent a lot of time thinking what represents Spring for me. the smell of new grass and rain and the sun being up when I get up but none of these things is something you can paper piece 😛 I finally decided to follow my spring/summer blog hop tradition and make a bird.
It is said in Iceland that when you hear the song of the Heiðlóa (pluvialis apricaria) spring has come.
